So why put Salicylic acid in face creams?

Salicylic acid is commonly used in acne creams, lotions and in treating dandruff. It helps to open clogged pores and remove the harmful bacteria within the pores that would otherwise cause spots and blemishes. It will then prevent the pore from clogging up again due to minimising the size of the pore. Another benefit of face creams that contain this magic ingrediant is that the salicylic acid aids in the shedding of old skin cells allowing new cell growth to take place immediately.

So in essence face creams that include Salicylic acid work as an exfoliant and cleanser in addition to moisturising your skin to perfection.

The David Jones Ambassador chose Australia for the launch of her face creams and skin care products due to her relationship with the David Jones brand.

As face creams go we are wondering if this new range is, well basically any good.

We salute Miranda in her quest to provide a 100% organic product but is this where the magic stops, will we see her product placed behind more dominate face creams after its initial launch or is the girl from Gunnedah really on to something, only time will tell.
